Job Description

Education and Experience:  

High school diploma or equivalent (required).  

Certification in electronics, security systems, or related field (preferred).  

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with CCTV and access  control systems.  

Technical Skills:  

Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV systems (analog and IP).  

Experience with access control platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Lenel, HID).  

Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, network cabling, and power supplies.  

Familiarity with security system software and remote monitoring tools.  

Key Responsibilities:  

1. Installation and Setup  

Install and configure CCTV systems, including IP cameras,  DVR/NVR systems, and related hardware.  

Set up and program access control systems, including door  controllers, card readers, and intercom systems.  

Run cables, connect devices, and integrate systems with existing  infrastructure.  

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting  Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of CCTV  and access control systems.  

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware  malfunctions and software errors.  

Replace faulty components, update firmware, and ensure systems  are operating optimally.  

Respond promptly to service calls and security incidents involving  system malfunctions.  

3. System Integration and Support  Integrate CCTV and access control systems with other security platforms  (e.g., alarm systems, monitoring software).  

Provide training to clients or internal staff on the proper use of installed  systems.  

Assist with system upgrades and expansions as required.  

4. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system  configurations.  

Create detailed service reports, including troubleshooting steps and  outcomes.  

Document and update system diagrams and technical specifications.

5. Compliance and Safety

Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to organizational and  regulatory standards.  

Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems and  tools.
