Network Operations Engineer

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Network Operations Engineer:

Responsibilities

– Implement solutions through consulting, design, programming, testing, training and documentation

– Provide post-sale technical support to customer base through resolution of technical issues, installation of upgrades and advising on product enhancements and new features

– Attain and maintaining relevant certification, both Department specific, for Partnership levels as well as for Engineer competency

– Keep current with technology products and features, primarily through self-study

– Maintain timely, accurate and detailed reports and required documentation

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent

– Minimum of five years’ experience in a networking or engineering field

– Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)- Routing & Switching (R&S)

– Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)- Routing & Switching (R&S) will be an asset

– Fortinet NSE 4 will be an asset

– Leadership skills

– Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

– Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
