Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides timely preparation and accurate monthly management of accounts and reporting in line with Group reporting deadlines and policies.
- Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s accounting records and financial systems.
- Perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting with responsibility for all journals and final GL balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts to identify unusual variations; and ensures discovered errors are corrected timely.
- Assists in the management of all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Ensures returns for Corporation tax, VAT and other relevant taxes are submitted, payments made on time and all relevant regulations are complied with.
- Liaises with different departments to ensure the Finance department is properly supporting the needs of the operating businesses.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Final Level in a Professional Accounting Designation.
- A minimum of five years experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP)
