Our client is looking for Country Logistics Manager
Qualifications and skills required
– At least 2-3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management and/or security management and procedures;
– Ability to train, mobilize and manage international and national staff;
– Flexibility and ability to multitask under pressure;
– Ability to work in unstable and frequently changing security environments;
– Advanced command of written and spoken English;
– Previous experience abroad is an asset.
Responsibilities
– Establish the culture to support customers through center led regional logistics.
– Create and implement process and procedures for logistics activities.
– Set goals and govern supply chain performance through outcome based metrics and a continuous performance improvement strategy.
– Manage the talent strategy – train logistics personnel in roles or responsibilities and implementation of electronic information systems
– Participate in supplier negotiations as operational expert and management processes such as selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
– Direct or coordinate comprehensive forward and reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, repair, scrap or other final disposal.
– Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with electronic business systems or processes.
– In a center led structure with regional execution, drive and steer international logistics functions for optimal results while working in collaboration with the Trade Compliance team.
