Duties and Responsibilities
Being responsible for human resource activities, including recruitment, terminations, staff
relations and benefits.
Working with supervisors and managers to determine skill gaps and advise on training and
development programmes for all levels of staff, and administering follow-up assessments.
Employing retention strategies for high-value staff by developing and managing reward,
recognition, compensation and benefits packages.
Developing and implementing human resource policies and procedures that support the
organization’s goals.
Maintaining and updating confidential records, policy manuals and employee handbooks.
Managing and disseminating all internal communication in the organization that relate to
notices, events, regulations, policies and procedures, etc
Managing and administering performance management systems to ensure effectiveness,
compliance, and equity within the organization.
Informing management and advising on critical human resources situations and issues
Maintaining and updating employee files and records
Managing human resources to facilitate the continued improvement of the department, the
accomplishment of organizational goals, and promoting service excellence.
Performing related work as required by the appropriate authority.

Qualifications and Experience
First Degree Human Resource Management or Business Administration
Three (3) to five (5) years’ relevant work experience

Knowledge of modern Human Resources methodologies
Able to display tact and diplomacy
Able to foster team and learning culture
Strong conceptual, analytical and human relations skills
