Job Description
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility for logistics, inventory management, delivery and warehouse
operations.
Responsible for smooth operations for goods and services. Requires liaising with suppliers,
vendors, couriers, and transport companies.
Managing flow of inventory at all locations, which involves overseeing team performance,
expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage.
Managing and designing back-of-house areas such as loading bays, stock handling areas,
storage rooms, and waste management in accordance with local regulations.
Developing operational processes, designing logistics systems, detailing equipment
requirements, and forecasting staffing levels.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information
confidential.
Supporting and leading stock-taking activities, managing replenishment and over-stocking of
inventory, and recommending adjustments to management.
Performs any other duties normally associated with the position
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and/or relevant field
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant warehouse management experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong administrative, documentation skills and proficient in reporting
Proficient in preparing, managing and monitoring budgets
Expert in Microsoft Office Suite Applications
Experience using an ERP programme is preferred
Confidential and trustworthy, with effective leadership capabilities
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
Analytical with keen attention to details and solutions oriented
Willingness to learn new tasks, deal with challenges and adapt to changing demands
