Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) Technician

Job Description

Our client is looking for Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) Technician

Responsibilities

 Prepare VGTs for deployment to retailer locations.
 Perform preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting of all gaming
machines and related equipment across the network.
 Provide regular inspections of all VGTs to ensure proper function and check for
tampering.
 Work alongside other team members to assist in resolving customer concerns
with problems regarding VGT machines
 Relocate VGTs as necessary to and from company storage to retailer premises.
 Organize and properly account for all paperwork required maintenance, updates
and ordering of parts.
 Keep detailed records of all machine inventory, required upgrades and parts.
 Liaise with various external; partners and service providers to ensure efficient
operation with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

 Technology background preferred in order to troubleshoot common problems with slot
machines.
 Experience working VGT machines and general knowledge of VGT management
software is beneficial.
 Previous experience working with computer hardware and software.
 Knowledge of basic computer networking concepts.
 Basic electronics repair skills such as component removal, installation and soldering.
 Ability to accurately provide supervisors with repair assessments and estimates 
 Strong customer service background as the employee will likely be interacting with
customers when addressing maintenance issues
 Personal accountability and ability to keep detailed records of machine inventory, updates
and parts.
