Job Description

Job Summary:
The HACCP Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and
maintaining the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system to ensure food
safety and compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the HACCP plan for all food production processes.
  2. Identify food safety hazards (biological, chemical, and physical) and determine
    critical control points (CCPs).
  3. Monitor CCPs and ensure corrective actions are taken when deviations occur.
  4. Conduct regular internal food safety audits and inspections.
  5. Maintain accurate HACCP records and documentation.
  6. Train staff on HACCP principles, food safety, and hygiene practices.
  7. Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and international standards.
  8. Investigate food safety incidents and customer complaints related to product safety.
  9. Work with production teams to improve food safety practices.
  10. Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
  11. Review and update HACCP plans when processes or products change.

Qualifications & Skills:
 Certificate or Diploma in Food Safety, HACCP, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
 HACCP certification.
 Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
 Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
 Good communication and training skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Experience in a food manufacturing or food service environment is an asset.
Working Conditions:
 May work in food production areas, cold storage, and office environments.
