Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite and remote IT support to law firm clients across Barbados and the wider Caribbean.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues.
- Implement, configure, and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on escalated issues and project deployments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client environments, tickets, and resolutions.
- Train and assist end users on IT systems, applications, and best practices.
- Participate in occasional after-hours/on-call rotations for critical issues.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on IT support or field engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently within Canada.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft (MCSA/Modern Desktop), or Cisco (CCNA) are an asset.
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and practices is a benefit.
