Job Description

Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate the activities of personnel on the shift on behalf of the Finished Goods Supervisor.

Have stocks segregated, identified and stored in such a manner as to avoid loading inaccurate, incorrect or poor-quality goods, including the handling of Close To Expired or Expired goods.

Have goods staged and organized in an orderly manner in the staging areas according to prescribed standard.

Oversee the loading of all local and export requests, ensuring compliance with required standard including expected standard for product quality and load organization.

Carry out physical checks or monitoring for all loads on all delivery vehicles, including exports, according to prescribed procedures.

Oversee that all delivery vehicles are checked in according to prescribed procedures before any product offloading takes place, including loads that never left.

Oversee that goods being offloaded are placed and organized in an orderly manner in designated staging areas.

Follow up that all staging, loading and offloading records including own records are complete, accurate and timely according to prescribed procedures.

Timely reporting of any (potential) staging, loading or offloading issues that can affect customer service, stocks or department efficiency.

Carry out physical checks, have physical checks done and carry out reconciliation of stocks according to prescribed procedures.

Have stocks segregated, identified and stored in such a manner as to avoid inaccurate stocks or incorrect or poor-quality product, including the identification and segregation of Close To Expired or Expired goods.

Verify that loads and unloads are physically checked or monitored according to prescribed procedures.

Validate accuracy of product quantities by comparing physical stock counts with the system stock levels for all finished goods and investigate and resolve all issues of stock variances such as shortages & overages or any other stock issues that may arise during Warehouse operations.

Investigate and resolve any stock variances providing relevant reports to key stakeholders.

Initiate stock write-off processes and follow up to completion.

Follow up that all stock control records including own records are complete, accurate and timely according to prescribed procedures.

Timely reporting of any (potential) stock control issues that can affect customer service, stocks or department efficiency.

Requirements

5 CXC’s including Math and English

Diploma in Logistics will be considered an asset

Valid Forklift Driver Certificate/License

Three (3) years’ experience operating in a Warehouse type environment.

Defensive Driving Certification would be considered an asset.

Must be able to work shifts.
